Construct's Casting

Construct's Casting adds comprehensive integration and compatibility between Tinkers Construct and Iron's Spells n' Spellbooks in the form of new recipes, tools, tool materials, modifiers, and a couple of magic spells.

You are permitted to include this mod in modpacks. For inquiries regarding the mod, it is preferable to reach out over GitHub (see Issue Tracker) or Discord (username snkprt)

Tools

Currently, the mod includes four craftable tools: the Wand, the Battlestaff, the Traveler's Spellbook, and the Plated Spellbook. All four come with unique stats (notably, Spell Power and Cooldown Reduction) affected by their unique choices of materials, all of which have their own unique sets of traits to augment spellcasting.

Additionally, the Flamberge is an ancient (loot-only) tool found occasionally in the hands of Ancient Knights or at Ancient Battlegrounds. It is a hefty sword which excels at both offense and defense, starting with relatively high attack damage and also providing armor points when held.

Materials

Also included are several tool materials to integrate content from Iron's Spells n' Spellbooks with Tinkers toolsmithing, and one original tool material to help fight against mages.

• Arcanium increases the player's mana capacity
• Exilite protects against spells and deals greater damage to magic-wielding enemies
• Arcane Cloth marginally increases spell power
• Mithril helps regenerate mana
• Pyrium causes fiery explosions
• And more!

Modifiers

Lots of new upgrades, abilities, and other modifiers to empower spellcasting (among other things)!

• Casting (Ability): Allows any staff to cast spells on right click.
• Imbued (Ability): Allows any tool to be imbued with one spell.
• Spellblade (Upgrade): Tool casts spells when striking an enemy.
• Elemental Magic Upgrades: Analog to Upgrade Orbs from Iron's Spellbooks; use upgrade orbs to boost Elemental spell power by 5%. Unlike Iron's Spells n' Spellbooks, has a maximum of 5 levels.
• Ringbearer (Ability): Lets the player wear two more rings in their curios inventory.
• And many more!

Recipes

A truckload of recipes to intertwine Tinkers Construct progression and Iron's Spellbooks integration, including but not limited to:

• Ink making and upgrading recipes
  • Ink can be melted down from scrolls or from upgrading lower tier ink
• Metal processing recipes for Arcane Metal, Mithril, and Pyrium
  • Includes Storage Blocks and Nuggets for storage and repair purposes
• Melting recipes for various Iron's Spellbooks mobs (including Tyros, The First Flamebearer)
• Magic Essences
  • Usually alloyed from Molten Arcane Essence and a specific school's focus material
  • Can be cast into Runes at a cheaper conversion rate compared to crafting
  • Can be consumed for a temporary buff
• Potato Stew

Spells

Two spells inspired by Tinkers Construct, mostly for utilitarian benefit.

• Invert (Ender): Temporarily reverses the caster's gravity, useful for locomotion across ceilings (house and nether)
• Freeze (Ice): Use on Casting Tables and Basins to instantly cool them down, perfect for speeding up tool crafting.
