Welcome to the world of Wands of Combat (WoC). In this mod, you'll have the opportunity to craft unique and powerful wands or discover ancient and mind-blowing wands. This can range from wands that freeze your enemies to wands that allow you to latch onto players and mobs!
This mod is under heavy development. The current version of the mod will be changed significantly over the updates it will receive.

This item is used to craft for all craftable wands. It is a mix between diamonds and obsidian, creating a powerful source of magic.



A support class wand that can pull and repel entities. This wand is the only wand to have alternate abilities.

Pulls dropped items and experience orbs towards you in an 8 block radius.

Increases pull speeds by 8% for that entity specifically. Resets every 2 minutes.

Pulls entities towards you in a 12 block radius.

Knocks back entities in an 8 block radius, doing 6 damage (3 hearts) to the repelled entities.


A support-offense class wand that can freeze or slow enemies. It can also send a spiked ice attack that does a high amount of damage.

The ability stops you from moving and taking any damage for 2 seconds and sends spiked ice towards a targeted mob. It has a 6.66 block range and does 22 damage (11 hearts).

For mobs, using this ability in a 8 block radius would give them Slowness 127 for 4 seconds. However, using this ability targeted towards player in a 12 block radius would give them Slowness 2 for 4 seconds.


An offense class wand that can summon lightning, create skeletons, and cause a thunderstorm of death.

Receive immunity to all lightning damage, natural and from other electric wands.

Summon a lightning bolt that hits the entity that you attacked. Does 5 damage.

In a 16 block radius, for every entity within that radius, summon 3 lightning bolts, which are each apart from each other by 10 ticks (500ms), which hit the entities. It will stun the entities (and prevent them from attacking) for 1.5s. Then, after a period of time, it would summon neutral skeletons with a stone sword to only attack the entity that the lightning has been summoned one. If there are multiple targets, it will spawn a neutral skeleton for each target. The skeleton cannot target anything else except for the targeted entities.


A movement class wand that can latch onto enemies and fly.
Fun Fact: The Phantom Wand has been nerfed multiple times before the release of Wands of Combat. There used to have a shorter ability cooldown and no slowness or darkness effects.

Latching
The phantom wand has an increased reach of 5 blocks (3 -> 5) and would make the player latch onto the target if the player has hit the target from 3-5 blocks away.

Allow the user to fly, but with slowness IV, and blindness for 6 seconds. Whilst flying, your attack damage is reduced by 80%.


A defensive wand that could launch non-destructive yet powerful fireballs, grant health buffers, allow healing using fire and creating a fire ring around the player.
Passive
Magma Shield
Unlike a regular Minecraft shield, the Magma Shield is not an item nor a physically visible shield. It is 2 absorption hearts in the player's health bar. Players (holding the wand) can automatically gain the Magma Shield after 30 seconds of not receiving any damage. Upon damaging and "breaking" the two hearts, it will cause all nearby entities within 6 blocks to be knocked away from the player. Then, it will give the player fire resistance and strength for both a minute, and resistance for 1:30.

Summon a fireball that shoots at the target that does 5 damage when hit but does not destroy blocks or spread fire.

Inner Healing

Every fire damage tick, heal the player by 0.1 health points (0.05 hearts) and extinguish the fire. Lasts for 45 seconds.
Ultimate
Fire Ring
⌛ 90s
Spawn a ring of fire that moves with you that burns everything in its path. Lasts for 30 seconds.
